DTRF2020-u2023

DTRF2020-u2023 is the latest ITRS realization of DGFI-TUM and the update of DTRF2020. It was computed in 2024/2025 and is based on input data provided by the IAG Scientific Services of the four geodetic space techniques VLBI, SLR, GNSS and DORIS (IVS, ILRS, IGS, IDS). The observation time spans cover 30 to 44 years until the end of 2023. DTRF2020-u2023 is characterized by the innovations listed below.

  •    Find also the new search option of the Interactive Map (available for DTRF2020-u2023 soon) !
  •   The newly compiled ESA antex file esa23_2303.atx including manufacturer calibrations of Galileo, GPS Block IIIA and QZSS satellites should be used together with igs20.atx for GNSS applications of DTRF2020!
DTRF2020-u2023: horizontal velocity field

Innovations compared to DTRF2020:
  • Three more years of observation data
  • New stations and local ties
  • New technique-specific models:
  • GNSS: new ground antenna calibrations for 10 antenna+radom types (station position corrections for DTRF2020 were necessary for consistency)
  • VLBI: gravitational deformation models for 7 more antennas
  • GNSS provides an independent scale realization also for the three years of extension series.
  • DTRF2020-u2023 scale is realized from the full history of VLBI and GNSS input data.
  • DTRF2020-u2023 origin is realized from the full history of SLR input data.
